[debian-users:37639] webmin のインストールエラー

omoikane2.0 Free から Debian Woody(3.0)にバージョンアッ
プし
 webmin を以下のコマンドでインストールしようとしたところ

apt-get install webmin

以下のエラーが発生し webmin がインストールできませんでし
た。

dpkg : error processing webmin ( --configure)
sub process post_installation script returned error exit
status 127
Errors were encountered while processing webmin 
sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returnd an error code(1)

現在 webmin が どのような状態か dpkg -l | grep webmin で
調べてみると

iF  webmin         0.94-10        Web-based administration
toolkit

パッケージのインストールがされていて制御ファイルの設定が
ない？
という状態になっているようです。

上記のエラーは、どのように調査、対応すればよいのでしょう
か？

apt-get で使用されいると思われるプログラムのバージョンは
、
以下のようになっています。

apt            0.5.4o1    
dpkg           1.9.21     
debconf        1.0.32     
perl           5.6.1-8.2
