[debian-users:44969] ACL, cp, tetex, while woody -> sarge dist-upgrade

飛田です。

一昨日から昨日にかけてルータにしている PII 266 なマシンをやっと woody
(kernel-2.4.18) から sarge へ dist-upgrade しました。現在、無事
kernel-2.6.8 で動いています。

ドキュメントに従い、aptitude -f --with-recommends dist-upgrade したので
すが、tetex 関連が引っかかってしまい、苦戦しました。

こけた時に出るメッセージを追って行くと、どうやら update-texmf の実行時に
> cp: preserving permission for `/tmp/tmp.hOgE/[...]': Operation not supported
というような物が出ている事が分かりました。

なぜそうなったのかというと、XFS 上で ACL が設定してあり(*)、
tetex-bin.postinst から呼ばれる update-texmf の 88行目の `cp -a [...]'
の部分でこけていたようです。

その時は上記文書を探す余裕もなく、取り敢えず、

のようにして逃げたのですが、本来、ACL がついてる場合の cp ってどうする
のが良いのでしょうか?
