なのですが、
>> search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set=root 4A3B-7939
4A3B-7939の部分には、/dev/sda2に対応する 1E81-DD4D を書けば良いのでしょうか。
(さっぱりわかっていないのですが、windowsのCドライブ/dev/sda4に対応する
D24C82894C8267D5 とは違うということで良いでしょうか？)
ともかく、
search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set=root 1E81-DD4D
を/etc/grub.d/40_custom に挿入して、
# update-grub
を実行すると、
Generating grub configuration file ...
Linux イメージを見つけました: /boot/vmlinuz-3.16.0-4-amd64
Found initrd image: /boot/initrd.img-3.16.0-4-amd64
