News/weekly/2005/28/index.wml の記事部分の前半 5 つを訳しました。
チェックをお願いいたします。

* 第 2 文は日本語の一文にするのが難しかったので 2 つの文に分け、
さらに原文を読むと anyway は「etch ではどちらにしろ」の意味なので、
それを補って訳してあります。
* 第 3 文冒頭の「to get the work done」の意味がよく分かりません。
直訳すると「仕事 (あるいは作業) を終えるため」となりますが、
LSB 3.0 についての具体的な作業はむしろこれからなので、
これもおかしいです。
というわけで the work は議論とか他人のメールのことかと思い、
とりあえず「これを踏まえて」と訳してあります。

<p>Welcome to this year's 28th issue of DWN, the weekly newsletter for the
Debian community. Bill Allombert <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2005/06/msg02112.html";>called</a>
for arm porters to support the <a href="$(HOME)/ports/arm/">ARM port</a> of
Debian. As this year's <a href="$(HOME)/events/2005/0710-debconf">Debian
conference</a> is taking place now, <a href="http://planet.debian.org/";>\
Debian Planet</a> carries a lot of content from the attending developers.</p>

<p><strong>LSB Version to support?</strong> Andreas Barth <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-release/2005/06/msg00309.html";>wondered</a>
which version of the Linux Standard Base (LSB) standard the upcoming etch
release should support. Matt Taggart would like to <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-release/2005/06/msg00310.html";>support</a>
LSB 3.0 which requires a newer glibc and may also need some tweaks to X.Org,
but both are needed anyway. To get the work done, Dave Neil started a <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-lsb/2005/06/msg00020.html";>discussion</a>
on who is working on which part.</p>
<p><strong>サポートする LSB のバージョンは?</strong>

(LSB) をサポートすべきかと<a

<p><strong>GCC 4.0 and C++ ABI Change.</strong> Matthias Klose <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2005/07/msg00001.html";>\
announced</a> the start of the GCC and C++ transition. GCC 4.0 is now the
default compiler in unstable, developers are required to upgrade their build
environment accordingly. Developers are advised not to upload any C++ code,
that build-depends on a library written in C++ which is not yet converted to
the new C++ ABI (Application binary interface).</p>
<p><strong>GCC 4.0 と C++ ABI 変更。</strong>

<p><strong>Debian Consultants List Update.</strong> Thomas Huriaux <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-project/2005/07/msg00038.html";>pointed
out</a> that several Debian <a href="$(HOME)/consultants/">\
consultants</a> have not yet answered a "ping" message via mail, even though
they are required to respond within four weeks according to the new Debian
consultants <a href="$(HOME)/consultants/#policy">policy</a>. They will be
removed from the list if they don't answer.</p>
<p><strong>Debian コンサルタント一覧の更新。</strong>
Thomas Huriaux さんは、Debian 新規コンサルタント<a
href="$(HOME)/consultants/#policy">ポリシー</a>で 4
週間以内に返事をするよう求められているにも関わらず、複数の Debian <a
href="$(HOME)/consultants/">コンサルタント</a>が、メールを使った "ping"
メッセージに返事してこなかったと<a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-project/2005/07/msg00038.html";>\
指摘しました</a>。返事をしなければそれらのコンサルタントは削除されるでしょう。</p>
<p><strong>State of Ada in Debian.</strong> Ludovic Brenta <a
href="http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2005/06/msg01586.html";>reported</a>
about his 18 month of maintainership of many Ada and related packages in
Debian and that he's looking for a new sponsor. He has also written a draft
<a href="http://www.ada-france.org/debian/debian-ada-policy.html";>policy</a>
for Ada packages which should ensure that all Ada packages use the same ABI
(binary interface), and work well together, especially libraries.</p>
<p><strong>Debian での Ada の状態。</strong>
Ludovic Brenta さんは、18 ヶ月にわたって自分がおこなってきた、Ada
やそれに関連する多数の Debian
パッケージの管理活動や、新しいスポンサーを求めていることについて<a
