<p><strong>Etch Beta1 broken installation media.</strong> Frans Pop <a
href="$(HOME)/devel/debian-installer/News/2006/20060207">\
announced</a> that as a consequence to changes to the Debian archive,
most of the installation media from Etch Beta1 are known to break.
The only images that should still be usable are the full installation
CDs. These changes are necessary for the Etch Beta2 release of Debian
Installer. If you need to use one of the other installation methods,
use the <a
href="http://people.debian.org/~fjp/d-i/images/daily/gtk-miniiso/";>\
daily built images</a>.</p>

<p><strong>Etch ベータ 1 のインストール用メディアが破損。</strong>
Frans Pop さんは、Debian アーカイブに加えられた変更の影響で、Etch ベータ 1 の
インストール用メディアの大半が破損したことが判明したと

告知しました</a>。現時点で利用可能な唯一のイメージは、完全インストール用
CD のみです。上述の変更は、Debian インストーラの Etch ベータ 2 版をリリース
するのに必要です。別のインストール用メディアを使う必要があれば、
<a href="http://people.debian.org/~fjp/d-i/images/daily/gtk-miniiso/";>\
デイリービルドイメージ</a>を使ってください。</p>

<p><strong>Device Driver Test Page.</strong> Lars Wirzenius <a
href="http://liw.iki.fi/liw/log/2006-02.html#20060211b";>reminded</a> us Debian
of the GNU/Linux device driver check <a href="http://kmuto.jp/debian/hcl/";>\
page</a> think.  Basically, the output of "lspci -n" is pasted into it, and
the system describes which hardware on the PCI bus is supported, and by which
driver.</p>

<p><strong>デバイスドライバ確認ページ。</strong>
Lars Wirzenius さんは、Debian GNU/Linux デバイスドライバ確認
<a href="http://kmuto.jp/debian/hcl/";>\
ページ</a>の存在を知らしめてくれました。基本的には、ページ内に
"lspci -n" の出力をペーストすると、PIC バス上にあるデバイスでサポート
されているハードウェア名と、そのためのドライバ名が表示されます。</p>

<p><strong>Orphaned Packages.</strong> 1 package was orphaned last week and
requires a new maintainer.  This makes a total of 219 orphaned packages.  Many
thanks to the previous maintainers who contributed to the Free Software
community.  Please see the <a href="$(HOME)/devel/wnpp/">WNPP pages</a> for
the full list, and please add a note to the bug report and retitle it to ITA:
if you plan to take over a package.</p>
