<p>A: If you want to have a secure (and stable) server you are strongly
encouraged to stay with stable. However, there is some limited security
support for testing: The Debian testing security team handles unembargoed
issues for testing. They will make sure that the fixed
packages enter testing in the usual way, or, if that takes too long, make
them available via the the normal <a
href="http://security.debian.org";>http://security.debian.org</a>
infrastructure. To use it, make sure the following line is in
<code>/etc/apt/sources.list</code>:</p>
<p><code>deb http://security.debian.org testing/updates main</code></p>
<p>and run <code>apt-get update && apt-get upgrade</code> as usual.</p>
<p>Note that the this doesn't guarantee that all known security bugs are
fixed in testing! Some updated packages might be waiting for transition to
testing, and some bugs might not be publically known, so the Testing
security team doesn't know about them. More information about the security
infrastructure for testing can be found at <a

<p>A: 安全な (そして安定した) サーバを構築したい場合には、
安定版 (stable) を使い続けるよう強くおすすめします。
しかし、テスト版 (<tt>testing</tt>) にも、
限定的ではありますが多少のセキュリティサポートはあります。
Debian テスト版 (testing) セキュリティチームが、
テスト版 (testing) に入ってしまったセキュリティ上の問題点を扱っています。
このチームは、修正済みのパッケージが通常の方法でテスト版 (testing)
にきちんと入ることを確認し、
もし通常の方法ではあまりにも時間がかかるようであれば、標準的な <a
href="http://security.debian.org";>http://security.debian.org</a>
インフラストラクチャを通じてセキュリティアップデートを利用できるようにします。
http://security.debian.org インフラストラクチャを使用するには、
<code>/etc/apt/sources.list</code> に次の行をきちんと含めてください。</p>

<p>その上で、通常どおり、

<p>注意すべきは、テスト版 (testing) セキュリティチームによる作業は、

への移行待ちの状態にあるものも含まれているかもしれません。
また、公には知られていなく、テスト版 (testing)
セキュリティチームも知らないバグがある可能性もあります。
