 Debhelper (in compat level 9 and above) allows its config files to be
 executable, and uses the output of suchs scripts as if it was the content
 of the config file.

 dh-exec[9] is a collection of scripts and programs to help creating such
 scripts in a standardised and easy to understand fashion.

 The collection provides helpers for the following tasks:

  * Expanding variables in various debhelper files (either from the
    environment, or variables known to dpkg-architecture - including
    multi-arch ones)
  * An extension to dh_install, that supports renaming files during the
    copy process, using an extended syntax.

 dh-exec is available in unstable, ready to be used by anyone who needs
 either of the above features.

Debhelper (compat レベルが 9 以上) では、設定ファイルを実行可能にして、そういった
スクリプトの出力を設定ファイルの中身として使うことができます。

[dh-exec][9] は、そのようなスクリプトの作成を、標準化されて理解しやすい形で
補助するためのスクリプトとプログラムの集合です。

これらによって、次のようなタスクにヘルパーが提供されます：

  * 様々な debhelper ファイルの内部で変数を展開 (環境変数や、multi-arch 関連も含めた
    dpkg-architecture による変数)
  * dh_install を拡張し、拡張書式を使うことでコピー時のファイル名変更をサポート

dh-exec は不安定版で利用可能で、上記の機能のいずれかを必要とする人は誰でもすぐに
使うことができます。
