この部分はそのままで良いと思います。

Mike さんのメール [1] によれば、

FWIW, a rough estimate of iceweasel 3.5.8 users (which means testing,
unstable and backports), based on access logs for the page that gets
displayed after version upgrades, is somewhere around 100,000 users,
as of today.

なので、iceweasel の利用者数は約 100,000 ということがわかります。また、

He came to the conclusion that for every one of the 13,000 Iceweasel
installations reported to popcon, there are at least 7.7 additional
Iceweasel installations

この部分は popcon に報告された 13,000 の 1 人につき 7.7 人の popcon
に報告されないユーザがいると解釈出来ます。

つまり 13,000 * 7.7 =~ 100,000 で Mike さんのメールとコンシステントであり、
上の表現に間違いは無いと思います。
