| We have no authority to dictate to maintainers how they should go
| about managing their own sources. I can only say that we freely offer
| use of cvs.debian.org for any debian project -- I think this helps

メンテナーに対して、彼らのパッケージのソースをどう管理するべきか
指図できるような権限は我々には無い。私に言えることは、我々は
すべての debian 関連プロジェクトに対して cvs.debian.org を自由に使えるよう
提供しているということだけだ。これによって developers-reference, boot-floppies,
そしてその他の様々な DDP 文書の翻訳者の作業の支援ができるだろうと私は考えている。
boot-floppies は debian-boot に CVS のレポートが流れているので知っていたのですが
developers-reference も CVS 管理されていたんですね。Adam がメンテナーをしている
パッケージは既に CVS 管理されていると思って良さそうです。

dpkg のソースも CVS 管理されているという話がありませんでしたっけ ?
iwj 版と branch を分けて管理したほうがいいんじゃないか、とかいう
話をどこかで見たような。もし既に CVS 管理されているのなら、アカウントを
もらえれば dpkg-doc-ja の内容を dpkg に入れてしまうのは簡単ですね。
たしか最近 Wichert が dpkg の日本語メッセージを自分で入れて NMU するとか
いう話を書いていたので、Wichert に聞いてみたらいいかも (> 鍋谷さん)
