 Adam Di Carlo が boot-floppies 開発の現状をまとめたものです。

 boot/root に関して言えば、我々は単純に boot 用に 1.4k イメージ、そして
 root 用に別の 1.4k イメージを作成することを決めた。CD-ROM からの起動では
これらの両方を含んだ 2.8k El Torito (またはその同等な規格) なひとつの
イメージを使うことができる。TFTP もこの方法ではそれほど大きな問題にならない
はずだ。

作業の先頭に立っている。これは現在進行中だ。

今我々が必要としているのは、ユーザーが自分のための task と profile を
選択して、テストできるような新しい GUI だ。これによって、初心者は
完全に dselect を skip できるだろう。

以下は、私の非公式な boot-floppies TODO リスト:

>   * build for all supported arches

  + すべてのサポートされているアーキテクチャに対して build できる

>   * eliminate all dselect acquisition methods aside from apt and

  + apt と、おそらく "mountable" 以外のすべてのパッケージ入手方法を

彼の TODO には何か対応できることがあればやりたいと思ってます。
