| One person mentioned not understanding my last email so here's the
| executive summary: Changing the Social Contract and DFSG has the same
| requirments for changing the Constitution. They are all as important as
| (or more important than) the Constitution. That means this proposal will
| require a 3:1 majority to pass. The amendment is changing a General
| Resolution. Since a GR is not considered important until AFTER passage,
| the amendent only needs a quorum to pass.
以前私の出した電子メールを理解できなかった人がいるようなので、
ここに要点をまとめておく。
- 社会契約と DFSG を変更するための条件は憲章の変更と同じである。
- これら (DSC&DFSG) は憲章と同じく (あるいはより) 重要である。
- 従って、この提案 (JG 案) が採用されるためには 3:1 の多数を必要とする。
- この提案に対する修正案 (AT 案) は GR (JG 提案) を変更するものである。
- 実際に採用されるまで GR (JG 提案) は重要なものでないため、
修正案の採用には a quorum (単純多数 ?) だけが必要とされる。

これを読んで、「最初に修正案の適用についての投票、次に (修正されるに
しろされないにしろ) 提案自体の採用についての投票が行なわれる」という
ことが理解できるだろうと思っていたのですが、実際に投票用紙として配布
された最初のメール

と "Choice 1"、"Choice 2" という言葉を使ってしまったために、
投票用紙の
[ ] Choice 1: Yes
[ ] Choice 2: No
[ ] Choice 3: Further Discussion
にある "Choice 1"、"Choice 2"、と関連づけて、"Choice 1: Yes" が JG 案を
意味していて、"Choice 2: No" が AT による修正案を意味すると受けとった人が
多かった、ということなのですね。
だから後で訂正して

既に結論が出ていますが、現在の投票は上記の Ballot 1 ですね。
この投票の結果を受けて、近いうちに 2 回目の投票の案内が出ると思います。
