それでいいのではないでしょうか。

例えば
  /hoge/foo/huga/source.sgml
であれば、/hoge/foo/huga のような、前にくっついてるディレクトリの
部分のことだと思います。

> 廃止されたものや将来含まれるもの

"not yet" には「将来含まれる」というニュアンスが入るのでしょうか？

あまり重要ではないですが、Besides が訳されていませんね。
