run on it の it は linux のことなので，
「Debian GNU/Linux は Linux オペレーティングシステム，そしてその上で
実行できる膨大なパッケージ群よりなるディストリビューションの一つです。」
かな。次の文の integration は 統一性，というところだとおもいます。パッ
ケージ管理システム云々は文を分けた方がいいかもしれない。

はっきり書いた方がいいと考えます。

ことができるようなソフトウェアの大規模な選集があります。それらは，
FTP アーカイブのnon-free や contrib ディレクトリの下に置かれます。」

ほかの部分が管理になっているので，パッケージ管理システムに統一した
方がいいでしょう。フォーマットというより，ここは再構成ぐらいかなぁ。
後半は，
「最近入手できる linux ディストリビューションのほとんどが何等かの
パッケージ管理システムを備えています。Debian のパッケージ管理シス
テムは Debian 固有のもので，特に頑健なものです。」

この場合，は「今回のリリースでは」ということだとおもいます。この場合，
だけだとちょっと唐突。

fancy っていい意味でつかうことが多いので，「気の利いた」の方がいい。
でも，原文は言い訳臭いなぁ。全部取った方がいいのかも ;^^)

重要なところなので，「公式」をもっと強調したい。例えば，

優先度ではなく，重要度と訳すべきとおもいます。以下同様。

ここは私も良く分かりません。if 節のところはまちがっとるだろうなぁ，
「ここには，「特殊な目的のものを除いた，そのソフトウェアがどのよう
なものであるのかが分からなくとも（分かってしまえば）恐らくインスト
ールしてみようという気になるような，すべてのソフトウェアが含まれて
います。」
