「以前二月に修正されました」の部分、
「既に二月の時点で修正されています」あるいは「今年の二月に修正済みです」
としませんか ?

この URI で参照できるのは、提案された GR とその修正案がどちらも
 expire の期限を過ぎており、共に棄却されるべきという意見だったので
ここでの "finer points" は「よりすばらしい点」というよりも
「さらに細かい点」ということではないかと。

とか。あと、ここタイトルと本文が連続しているので本文のほうも

「「Debian の父」として知られる Ian Murdock は最近「娘の父」にもなりました」

という始め方にしたほうが良いかも。

「女の赤ちゃん」にちょっと違和感 (なんか丁寧でない感じ) があったのですが、
どうなのかな。

「女の子の赤ちゃん」「赤ちゃんの女の子」とかならいいような気もするのですが。

 # 「小学生の女の子」のほうが「小学生の女」よりもいいような気がする、
 # というのと似たような感じ ?
