「このドライバのフリーソフトウェア版は利用できない」
だと、フリーソフトウェア版のドライバが存在するけれども
それは何らかの問題があって利用不能である、という感じです。
一方、not available は「存在しない」という意味だと思います
ので、「このドライバにはフリーソフトウェア版が存在しないからです」
というのはどうでしょうか。
