詳しいお返事ありがとうございます。

最終的には、Intelli Mouseを動かすことができました。が、XF86Setup
にちと疑問があります。

マウスをつかわずに、XF86Setupをキーボードだけでconfigrationしまして
/etc/X11/XF86Configを見てみました。
すると、マウスのdeviceを/dev/psauxに指定していたにもかかわらず。
/dev/mouseが書き込まれていました。

バグ？それとも、/dev/mouseを/dev/psauxにlnするのが正解だったのか？

querybtsで、xf86setupをざーっと見ましたが、見のがしているのかも？

また、imultimouseもチェックを入れさせていただきました。

ということで、要約すると「複数のポインティングデバイス入力を、一つのマウスであるか
のように見せるプログラム」ですね。私のは、Mini Towerなので具体的な使用方法が
思いうかばないのですが、Note で ポインティングデバイスが、タッチパッドと自分が
つけたマウスなどの場合には嬉しいですね。特に、グリグリ(Wheelのことです)の入力を
取ることができるというのは嬉しいでしょう。
