エラーはなくなったようです。しかし

#smbpasswd -a cupsuser　とすると

Failed to initialise SAM_ACCOUNT for user cupsuser. Does this user exist in 
the UNIX password database ?
Failed to modify password entry for user cupsuser

となってできないのはなぜなんでしょうか。。
