直訳すると

ですかね。

現在完了なので、「しました」→「してきました」かな。
時制やrecentlyからすると、「最近この作業を引退しました」。ただ、task=作業
だとちょっとわかりにくいので、「最近この職を辞しました。」

step upはここでは「進み出る」とか「名乗り出る」とかの意味あいですね。
そうじゃないと前後の意味が通じないです。
また、原文が1文で、この文も1文にできると思います。

バク→バグ
open bugsはBTSでのopenだと思うので、「オープンの状態になっているバグ」
のほうが適切かも。
feel freeは「どうぞご自由に」「お気軽に」というニュアンスです。
