もとの Adam が書いたメールを読めばわかりますが、言語毎に base archive を
用意するとは書かれていません。base archive はシンボリックリンクになって
いて、すべての言語に共通です。

なお、従来の resc は、resc + root の 2 枚構成になりました。drv が言語毎
に必要とは思えないし、resc は少し微妙なところではありますが、最悪でも 
root を言語ごとに用意することになる程度で済むのではないでしょうか。
