  わからないところがいくつかあるので、どなたか再査読をお願いします。

機能のことでしょうか?

  2番目の文は「リスクに効果が見合わない」ということを言いたいのでしょ
うか。
  訳文の「重要でない」ので「リスクを引き起こす」だと論理がおかしいです。

  "poses" は "possess" かと思ったら、"pose" の三単現なんですね。
  訳しづらい。

  3番目の文もちょっと言いたいことがわかりません。

廃止された設定方法でインストールされています

過去のバージョンの pure-ftpd Debian パッケージではコマンドラインオプショ
ンを /etc/default/pure-ftpd で指定していました。この方式だと inted 経
由で daemon を呼び出す場合にオプションを指定しづらいため、現在は変更さ
れています。

pure-ftpd は現在、スタンドアロンと inetd のどちらでも
(pure-config.pl によって作成された) /etc/pure-ftpd.conf ファイルを設定
として利用しています。/etc/default/pure-ftpd の OPTIONS で指定したカス
タマイズが /etc/pure-ftpd.conf に反映されているか確認してください。あ
らゆるケースで動作する設定ファイルを自動的に作成するのは現状では不可能
なためです。OPTIONS は使用されないので削除してしまってかまいません。削
除すれば今後はこのメッセージが表示されません。

  訳もれがありました。

MinUID のデフォルト値は 1000 に変更されました。

Debian ポリシーに準拠するため、-u フラグのデフォルト値
(/etc/pure-ftpd/conf/MinUID に保存されます) は 100 から 1000 に変更さ
れました。これにより UID が 1000 以下の仮想ユーザを利用していた場合、
Pure-FTPd の設定を壊してしまうかもしれません。

  後の文の "break" の意味がよくわかりませんでした。
