つまり、「リンク先を削除してしまう」が正しいだろうということですね。
私も、文意からはそうなりそうな気がするのですが、
"remove the links" は「リンク先を消す」ではなくて、
「リンクそのものを消す」になるはずですよね？
元々この文章が間違ってるのかな？
まあ、とりあえずは鍋谷さんのおっしゃるように
「リンク先を削除」ということにしておいて、必要であれば
後に変更することにしようと思います。
