井上さんから訳が届きました。とりあえずそのまま転送します。
経緯を少し書くと、私は「社会契約」の部分だけ訳して、あとは井上さんに
お任せしました。下記メールにも書いてありますが、私が訳したところにも
若干井上さんの手が入ってます。

ンの翻訳をお送りします。「社会契約」は少し手直ししました。「フリーソフト
ウエア
ガイドライン」の訳は、1)用語の訳が適切か、2)文脈がおかしくないか、の観点
か
らチェックをお願いします。(時々とんでもない誤訳(意訳)をすることがあるの
で)

2. カタカナの「ー」の扱い
「コンピューター」なのか「コンピュータ」なのか。
一般に、4文字を超えるカタカナ表記の場合、最後の「ー」を省略するようで

ます。確認したわけではありませんが、学術用語審議会?かJIS規格で取り決めら

閲覧、追加、修正できるようにしましょう。

(Debian Free Software Guideline に該当するものが「フリー」であり、
それ以外が non-free であるから「フリーではない」、「フリー以外の」が
良いと思います)

固有名詞とみなすのなら「ディストリビューション」もいいかもしれませ

(Debian component という表現がありますが、明確な定義がなされている
のなら「コンポーネント」という訳語を採用したほうが良いと思います。
ところで、Debian の本家は glossary を用意しているのでしょうか。
